Walk through Saturday...with lots of holes...

Third stop of the day (after Sam's and Giant)....and it's only 8:15...

Lisa works for Donna; she always asks about you and is thrilled to talk about her involvement with Hope International and her visits to Costa Rica and---another South American country which I cannot call to mind (also full of holes).

Anna is so sweet; I tried to catch a candid shot but my camera is slow, so I asked her to pose and she turned red and wouldn't look straight at the camera.  She is very well-read and knowledgeable.  Her sister Emma works on Thursday and Friday.  Neither of the girls is married; each is devoted to the care of their mother who is disabled.

At the Shillington Market, Jeff had prepared about 20 chicken cutlets...

...I wish I had taken more than one photo...this one didn't turn out so well...

Penny is recovering from breast cancer; he expressed gratitude when I told him that I have been praying for them.

After I stopped by to visit briefly with Jordan and Zack, I came home and unloaded the car...

These treats are not intended to tease you but to remind you of all the delicious things you will want to eat when you come home....

It was indeed a busy day, many coming and goings, one of which took me to Spokes where I picked up a gift of love for my boys....

Jordan told me this morning that he would like to start riding a bike to work, and he said that Zack had expressed regret about not having a bike to ride.  ( His bike was stolen due to the carelessness of a very thoughtless and irresponsible "friend.")

I thought of the beauty sitting in the garage at home---- the one I want so badly to give to them but which, for the time being at least,  I am bound to keep in my possession...

A gift from Bob...with a condition attached...that he may have it back when he is ready to start riding....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

...signed by the donor

When the lady at Spokes asked me if the bike was a present, I explained that it wasn't really a present, just a....hmmmmm... "a gift of love?" she asked. "Yes, that's exactly what it is."  I answered.

Some beautiful sage for Nana's teacup....

Geranium...

It's 6:30 already??  Need to get some eggs for tomorrow's breakfast burritos.

Can you smell the newly-mown hay?

It's Phillips Family Day...

No 10,000 steps today to merit this reward but I indulged anyway...Nana was hungry for apple pie this week and someone's got to help her eat it.   SIGH.
